This may come as surprise if the director reads it. I am from South India. I felt like i am watching a non commercial Bollywood movie. Story is good, and you have to watch it at one pace. I believe it would be a movie made for people wanting to migrate/living to western countries should watch. Islam has the top noch rich culture and values. It's parents responsibility to teach the same, rest is upto them whether they want it or not. It doesn't matter where ever we live/migrate/settle as long as you are a believer you must not trade your faith to evil. And you can fight evil probably win. I have enjoyed this movie TBH 👋👋👋👋
In the whole movie, I tried to understand the story which was entirely missing. I do not suggest you to waste your time, watching this movie. Yes, after some intervals there are some kissing scenes trying to boost the spectators but failed completely.
Viewed a digital copy from home during Tiff. My wife and i are checking out one movie each day of the festival. This was my favorite so far. The first thing that got to me was the score. Really great music, just enhanced every scene. Second thing that got to me was the cinematography; above average, just loved the rich colors and composition of every shot. Third thing that got to me was the emotional power of the climactic scene, really drew me in and made me feel every emotion along with the characters. Everyone involved should be really proud of making this outstanding film.
Without saying too much about the story, the film creates an incredible realistic yet artistic story which switches meaning in a great way that really makes a second viewing inevitable- and all for the better. The film is utterly relatable to anyone who has trouble in social situations and in all just explains moments growing up gives us. The cinema on display is delicate- natural and well crafted and being shot on 35mm is all the better for it. Watch this film-
