Kodiveeran

Over this holiday period I watched a few movies. Not counting my re visits ti SW, LOTR or Avatar :) But I also watched not one but three Tamil movies in a week. Kodiveeran. Aram and Atuvi. Again revisits to Aboorva Sagodaragal, Karnan and Theri not included. Ok. let us start with Kodiveeran. I am one of those few who believe people like Sasi Kumar and Samudrakani can bring new things to Tamil Cinema. I am mentioning both of them here they have done some brilliant work together. I think Sasi is good as a Director or Creator but not so as an actor. Sasi it hurts to see such a talented person like you squandering away your gift. I can see you are trying different things and they don't work out so you went back to your "bad boy from Madurai" getup. Well I know and probably you know by now, NO it does not work out. I believed and I still believe that you are some one like Tarantino to Tamil Cinema. That you can mix Masala, Gore, Sentiments and Violence in a movie and yet it can be enjoyable. Kuttipuli was wrong Kodiveeran is even worse. I hope your next project is Sasi wise. Good luck Brother!

Need more movies like this to remind people about the true culture of Rural Tamilnadu in India . What it means to be a Man , What it means to be brother, What it means to be a husband , What true valor means .., Once you lose your honor , you're as good as a piece of paper on the road... The director has showcased the relationship between a brother and a sister so beautifully . Its been ages ,we've seen relationship like this on modern Tamil cinema . The one who played Sasi's sister ,is essentially the heart of the movie .The Director could've ventured even more deeper into the characters ,but could've cut short due to time constraints . On the whole its a wonderful action oriented gritty Tamil movie , if one could put it in a sentence . Sasi fans won't be disappointed ,and we need more and more such movies of Sasikumar to hit the Tamil screens . A truly decent Action movie . And I'll even recommend this director to direct Rajni sir's movies too..

Worst Movie. Nobody acted very well in the movie. Songs and BGM in the movie were worst. This movie was one of the worst movie of Sasikumar. Nothing was good in the movie. The movie had many buildup scenes which made the movie worst. Worst Movie.
