Gabe Weil is a 27 year old born with the most severe form of muscular dystrophy. For his entire life, Gabe had been told he would be lucky to live past 25. But recently, he learned he was misdiagnosed, and may live well into his 50's.

"Gabe" is an amazing documentary about a young man named Gabe, who at a very young age was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The film is also about his close relationship with the Director of the film, Luke Terrell. Luke and Gabe have a beautiful and organic friendship that is genuine and inspiring. This is Luke's first feature documentary and I can't wait to see what he does next because he is an incredibly talented and compassionate storyteller.
