Opetaia controlled most of the fight with his sharp jab, body work, and relentless pressure, despite being briefly rocked in the second round. He closed the show in spectacular fashion by landing a devastating left hand that knocked Cinkara unconscious at 0:56 of the eighth round, retaining his world titles.
