تدور أحداث الفلم في عصر مليء بالأساطير والسحر ، حيث آخر فرسان الصقر (جيف بريدجز) ، الذي يجد أثناء ترحاله بطلا صغيرا يمتلك قوى غير طبيعية ، فيأخذ هذا الابن السابع (بن بارنز) من حياته الهادئة كأحد المزارعين ؛ ليشرع معه في مغامرة قتالية جريئة لقهر ملكة الظلام الأم مالكين (جوليان موور) ، وجيش خارق من القتلة أرسلتهم لمواجهتهم .
