تدور أحداث الفيلم حول المراهق ماكس ماكغراث (بن ينتشل)، الذي يكتشف أن بحوزته أقوى طاقة على وجه الأرض، ومغامراته مع رفيقه (ستيل) الكائن الفضائي ذي القدرات الخارقة، واللذان يكتشفان وجوب استغلال قدراتهما الهائلة معًا والاتحاد لصنع بطل خارق جديد ذي قدرات هائلة مُضاعفة لإمكانية التغلب على خصومهما الأشرار.
