Not a big fan of films that try and extoll the "virtues" of an anti-semitic, evangelical con man- using his bully pulpit to lie to his congregation as well as try to influence politics. Thomas Jefferson was right in wanting and demanding the separation of church and state, so as not to become the tyrannical christofascist state that Graham and his ilk strove to help it become. Evangelical Christofascists also used Graham's playbook to further their agenda now that he's finally no longer a player in the Religious Grift and has hopefully gone down for his just reward. I wouldn't waste your time watching a biopic on his mean spirited, cruel, and non-progressive worldview (his backwards and neanderthalic view of women's rights and place in society; his uninformed and practically evil views on LGBTQ+ rights, etc). Instead read a good book (that isn't the bible again). Go and learn about tolerance for your fellow man/woman, and practice what you read. Show compassion, support, and understanding of your other human beings. Find something kinder to do than watching a biased documentary about someone who held us back for years while falsely promulgating "christian tenets" that couldn't be further from the truth of what the original man said.
I'm sure there is other documentaries with much more details about Billy, but this is a good starting point. Before watching this I had no idea who he was and I why so many people considered him such a great preacher. He is definitely an inspiration not just for Christians, but people in general. I would of liked to know more about his denomination(if any), his insights, hobbies, and other aspects of his life. I felt that in that sense, there is a lot left out. In the end, I learned what I wanted to know though.
A beautifully summarized depiction and telling of the great Dr. Billy Graham, also known as "America's Pastor" . The Documentary is well written and well directed, leaving you missing Billy but at the same time marveling in what God can do in and through just about anyone's life if you just believe in Him!
