Wu Song finds out about his sister-in-law's affair with a rich man, Ximen Qing. Qing sets Song up and have him exiled for a year, during which his hapless brother is murdered and cremated. When Song finally returns home, he takes the case to court but the judge brushes it aside and closes it abruptly. Can Song finally avenge his brother's death?
