Following his swearing in, Kithure Kindiki found himself burdened with an overwhelming workload, particularly in the realm of security. The challenges that awaited Kindiki were twofold: escalating insecurity within Nairobi's central business district and its surrounding areas, as well as a surge in banditry plaguing the untamed lands of the North Rift.
