There are people much better at Slay the Spire than I am, but one thing I *can* do is show you what makes it particularly interesting for a fan of thinky games! I've played maybe 5 hours of the first game, and since this stream, I've managed to complete a couple of co-op runs of Slay the Spire 2 and... it's a very cool game! The gameplay loop is now so well known, especially after Slay the Spire's influence, but it might still be one of the best executions of it. What makes Slay the Spire 2 work for me is just how much information the game puts up front - you're rarely yelling at the game for a bad draw, it's on you to curate your deck and find strategies that will carry you forward. And that's pretty puzzly, in a way! @JoePlaysPuzzleGamesplays Slay the Spire 2 by @MegaCrit Thinky Games DB: https://thinkygames.com/games/slay-the-spire-2/ Steam: https://store.steampowered.com/app/2868840/Slay_the_Spire_2/ Thinky Games: https://thinkygames.com/ Join our Discord community: https://thinkygames.com/discord/ Find great thinky games: https://thinkygames.com/games/ Bluesky: https://bsky.app/profile/thinkygames.com Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/thinkygames X: https://x.com/thinky_games Mastodon: https://mastodon.gamedev.place/@thinkygames Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/thinkygames/ #thinkygames #puzzlegame #roguelike #deckbuilding #strategygames #slaythespire ThinkyGames.com is an initiative of Carina Initiatives, who may have professional relationships with individuals and businesses related to the content of this video.
