After Batman disappears, Kate discovers that her cousin Bruce Wayne was Batman. She decides to take after him by becoming a vigilante using the skills she gained in the military, with the help of technology expert and former Wayne Enterprises employee Luke Fox, as well as her half-sister Mary Hamilton.
