Arc Raiders has quickly become one of the most interesting extraction shooters out there, but one question keeps coming up: what kind of game does it actually want to be? After talking about Arc Raiders' larger problems in my previous video, I wanted to take a deeper dive into what I think may be its biggest issue: an identity crisis. With Escape From Tarkov finding success through PvE-only experiences, could Arc Raiders benefit from something similar, or would it damage the very thing that makes it unique? In this video we break down the PvE debate, what worked for Tarkov, and whether Arc Raiders needs to make a choice before launch. Do you think Arc Raiders should add a PvE-only mode, or should it fully commit to PvPvE? Let me know in the comments. 00:00 Intro 00:15 The community responds 01:30 Is a PVE only mode viable in extraction shooters? 05:31 Understanding the success of PVE only in Tarkov 07:40 What does the Chinese version of ARC Raiders mean for us? 10:21 Final thoughts 11:52 Outro and Thanks 🔥 Subscribe for more Arc Raiders, extraction shooter, and looter shooter content.
