As the Qing dynasty seeks to impose their control on surrounding kingdoms and annex them under their own banner, King Ingo of the Joseon dynasty refuses to fall into line, only to be attacked and forced into isolation in the fortress city of Namhansanseong, where his advisors clash over what to do.
