The arrival of an Italian nun called Paola to a women's refuge in Buenos Aires disrupts the quiet pace of life there, when Lu, a rebellious teenager mother who has a daughter called Nina, goes missing just as Paola arrives. The film sheds light on life in the refuge through Lu and Nina's story.
