Rewinding the fast paced multi-starrer thriller #SHAAN1980 with its James Bond Style opening track. The jazzy vocal combined with plentiful violins , trumpets and trombones by legendary #RDBurman still sounds great today for its high-tech soundtrack . The movie was certainly much ahead of its time . Like Sholay ( The movie of the millennium) from the same film maker in 70’s, Shaan too opened a new frontier of Indian Cinema . The energetic action sequences , powerful performances and thumping background music of the movie still remains alive. All with superb actors including the BigB #AmitabhBachchan . The movie has everything ...from comedy to drama and action , from car chase to hostage crises , from shoootout action to a jewel heist . And of course the iconic villain played by #KhulbasanKharbanda as antagonist Shakaal. His headquarter was shot in Steep Holm - an English Island of the Bristol Channel where the sadistic baddie lived like king size with automated gadgets and devices and used sharks , crocodiles and blood hounds to kill .
