Due to the COVID-19 pandemic causing the delay of the 2020 Olympics Games in Tokyo, Carrington decided to turn pro. He finished his amateur career with a record of 255 wins, 31 losses. Carrington made his debut on the undercard of Tyson Fury vs. Deontay Wilder III on October 9, 2021, at the T-Mobile Arena and now currently holds a professional record of 17-0 with 10 knockouts.
