Pure technical excellence collides with unbridled ego in the opening round of the 2026 MLW Opera Cup! MLW National Openweight Champion Austin Aries takes on the returning "Hot Sauce" Tracy Williams in a high-stakes, non-title tournament clash! Aries entered the arena declaring himself the single greatest professional wrestler on the planet, but standing across from him was one of the most dangerous submission specialists in modern wrestling. Tracy Williams pushed the self-proclaimed "Greatest Man That Ever Lived" to his absolute limits, trapping Aries in grueling submission holds and landing devastating strikes. In a match packed with counters, stiff strikes, and submission trade-offs, Aries had to rely on every bit of his cunning, vicious tactics, and dynamic offense—culminating in his signature corner running dropkick and brainbuster combination to punch his ticket to the quarterfinals!
