Strained" is a deep Nollywood movie that looks into family bonds, especially between a mom and her daughter who haven't seen each other for a long time. Directed by Okechukwu Oku and written by Onyenye Amadi, it stars Tracey George, Queen Nwokoye, Samuel Nnaibuike, Padita Agu, and Adaeze Onuigbo. The story happens in Enugu and talks about the Igbo tradition of "Omugwo," where a mom helps her daughter after she has a baby. The plot gets going when Ebere, played by Tracey George, needs to fix things with her mom, played by Queen Nwokoye, after her baby comes. The movie makes us think about why they fell out and if Ebere will let her mom stay to help with the new baby. The acting is top-notch, with Queen Nwokoye shining as Ebere's mom. Her work makes the movie stand out. "Strained" is a strong drama with great acting, high-quality production, and a deep message. It does well in showing how past hurts can last and adds lightness to the family times during the Omugwo.
