This melodic, yet mellow creation by Siddharth Kasyap features the voice of Rishikesh Kamerkar, who has also sung for Bollywood, and Jankee Mehta, who commenced her singing career from childhood, mushrooming her talents since by singing jingles, songs, and on stage. Atul Raninga utilises the Pianica, a unique instrument that combines the best of the pump organ and harmonica. The device has a musical keyboard on top, and is played by blowing air through a mouthpiece that fits into a hole in the side of the instrument, leading dramatic credence to the sound on “Meherbaan”. Nevertheless, it is the sheer purity and strength of the voices throughout the track which produce a dramatic reading of the lyrics, making “Meherbaan” a song that it both versatile and novel.
