Typical head and arm control on front Turtle is a great quadruple threat to your opponent! I like using the knee to open up tight turtle arms to start setting up the crucifix. It isolates an arm and the angle change pulls it away from their body making the head and arm very accessible! Yes you can absolutely use this same "arm opener" to hit the D'arce as well ;) Happy Grappling
