Grade 8 - Addition and Subtraction of Rational Expressions (Tagalog/Filipino Math)
Hi guys! This video discusses how to add and subtract rational expressions. When adding or subtracting rational expressions with the same denominators, we simply add/subtract the numerators and copy the same denominators. In the case of different denominators, we find first the LCD and then transform the rational expressions into similar fractions using the LCD. Then simplify the numerators by performing the multiplication of polynomials and combining similar terms. If the simplified numerator can still be factored, do so and cancel if there is/are common factor(s) in the denominator. We solve examples for adding and subtracting rational expressions. Happy learning and enjoy watching! #math #tagalog #algebra
