You shot first and still died — and it's not lag. This is peeker's advantage in CS2, and why sub-tick never fixed it. Most players blame their aim, their ping, or the servers. The real reason you lose fights you should win is buried in how CS2's netcode actually works — tickrate, sub-tick, interpolation and lag compensation. In this video I break it down from the ground up, in plain English, and show you exactly what to change so you stop losing peeks you already won. ⏱️ Chapters 0:00 The death that shouldn't happen 0:20 How the server "sees" the game (tick & sub-tick) 1:12 What sub-tick actually changed (and what it didn't) 1:32 Why you see the past (interpolation) 2:18 Why the peeker always wins 3:06 What to actually do about it If you've ever died "behind the wall," drop the clip in the comments — now you'll know exactly what happened. 🔔 Subscribe for more CS2 mechanics explained properly / highlights #CS2 #CounterStrike2 #PeekersAdvantage
