Bakhodir Jalolov could have been an NBA star. Instead, he chose to knock people out. Standing 6'7" with an 81-inch reach, “The Big Uzbek” is one of the most unusual heavyweights in boxing — a towering Olympic monster from Uzbekistan with the size, skill, and amateur pedigree to become a serious threat in the professional ranks. Jalolov became one of the greatest amateurs of his generation, winning Olympic gold in Tokyo before returning to defend his crown in Paris. In doing so, he became only the second super-heavyweight in history, after Teófilo Stevenson, to win Olympic gold more than once. But despite all that success, Jalolov’s professional career still feels unfinished. The knockouts came early. The aura was real. The talent was obvious. But with no major professional world title yet, the question remains: Is Bakhodir Jalolov ready to stop being a great amateur and finally become the heavyweight star he was always meant to be? #Boxing #FightStory #BakhodirJalolov #Jalolov #TheBigUzbek #HeavyweightBoxing #BoxingDocumentary #BoxingHighlights #OlympicBoxing #UzbekistanBoxing #BoxingKnockouts #TopRankBoxing #Heavyweight #BoxingHistory #Paris2024
