We said it wasn't possible…. Turns out we were wrong! On October 4, 2025, KurtJMac made Minecraft history by reaching the Far Lands – the strange, glitchy, Swiss cheese-looking place where Minecraft’s old Java rendering system got… kind of wonky. KurtJMac documented every step of his 14-year, 12.5 million-block long journey on Youtube and Twitch, raising over $500k USD for charity and building a global community. Did he ever consider quitting? Was it worth it? Is it true what they say – that it’s the journey, not the destination? Watch as KurtJMac, together with Mojang’s Gustav Höglund, Mikael Hedberg, Chloe Basel, and Cory Scheviak, reflect on this one-of-a-kind journey.
