You can access extra Breakdowns, Tutorials, and 1-2-1 Coaching on the Pro Striking Patreon here: https://www.patreon.com/c/prostriking https://www.prostriking.com In this breakdown, I take a detailed look at Usman Nurmagomedov and the tactical principles behind the system developed by Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov and carried forward by fighters like Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev and Umar Nurmagomedov. Rather than focusing on the usual story of Dagestan wrestling and conditioning, this video looks at the actual tactics: how Usman controls the clock. What are the actual tactics behind the plan? Usman isn’t simply trying to copy Khabib. His kicking game, range, movement and ability to fight going backwards give him his own version of the system. If you want to go deeper into the positioning side of striking, I’ve put together a full 3 hour positioning course on the website where I show how to apply these concepts in your own training: https://www.prostriking.com Footage rights provided by WSC Sports - https://tinyurl.com/prostriking #prostriking #PFL #ProfessionalFightersLeague
