But his mentor distrusted his initiatives and eventually kicked him out of the force. Takeshi resurfaced as the assistant of the private detective Joe Kuruma. Secretly, Takeshi acquired a special suit with several different forms and weapons. He became the armored superhero Hurricane Polymar, engaging in a private war against organized crime.
