The Ori game series has surpassed the 10 million copies milestone, a fact shared by Moon Studios' co-founder and creative director, Thomas Mahler. The developer did not disclose the individual sales figures for Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, making it unclear which game has proven more popular. However, the game director and designer highlighted that Moon Studios could have faced bankruptcy if Ori and the Blind Forest had failed — the studio's fate was directly tied to the success of its debut game. Furthermore, Mahler suggests that the high sales volume positions the franchise as the most successful "Metroidvania" series in history. Considering both Ori games are also available through Game Pass, their sales are doubly impressive, likely indicating a significantly larger player base than the total sales figures suggest. 00:00 - Ori 01:03 - PUBG.
