Arena will be removed in Fortnite's v24.40 update, and in it's place will be a NEW Ranked mode. Epic are yet to release a trailer (publicly), but they released an update blog post which showed their full plans, including rewards for hitting specific ranks! There will also be a separate ranked mode for Battle Royale, and Zero Build.
