Learn to Play Chess | Double Check | Kids Academy Double check is a check by two pieces all at the same time. When it comes to playing chess, the double check is always considered equally as a single check. The only difference lies in the symbolic representation of both the terms. A single check is represented by “+” and a double check is represented by “++”. However, the sign “++” is sometimes used to indicate checkmate too. In double check, one piece moves to deliver a check and reveal an already discovered check that it was blocking before. Discovery is the best way to destroy your opponent. You can learn more about the double check move on the internet. All you have to do is to type “learn chess for kids” online and you will have several results pop up on your screen.
