The Doomsday Cage Match is remembered as one of the worst gimmick matches WCW ever produced but elsewhere on the card Konnan took on Eddie Guerrero, Fit Finlay vs Lord Steven Regal also took place, The Giant battled Loch Ness (Giant Haystacks) and a tag team match was slotted into the semi-main spot; Sting and Booker T vs The Road Warriors.
