Happening 1 day after an episode of Nitro and 5 days before nWo Souled Out 97, this Clash show felt a little sandwiched between two shows that maybe had more importance in terms of WCW's growth but still, a few matches took place that are worth checking out. Clash of the Champions 34 was headlined by Lex Luger vs Scott Hall. Chris Benoit vs The Taskmaster also took place (a falls count anywhere match that continued the Sullivan / Benoit / Woman rivalry) and Dean Malenko also tried to get his Cruiserweight Title back in a match against Ultimo Dragon. This video (a continuation in the Wrestling Bios "Reliving The War" series) looks at the entire 34th WCW Clash of the Champions special while breaking down each match that took place. 00:00 - Intro 01:35 - Dean Malenko vs Ultimo Dragon 06:49 - Scotty Riggs vs Mike Enos 09:20 - Trios Cruiserweight Match 11:50 - Harlem Heat vs Gomez & Renegade 13:16 - Masahiro Chono vs Alex Wright 15:11 - Scott Norton vs Eddie Guerrero 18:16 - Giant Promo 19:28 - The Taskmaster vs Chris Benoit 21:40 - Amazing French Canadians vs The Steiners 23:29 - Scott Hall vs Lex Luger 27:29 - Final Thoughts #WCW #nWo #Wrestling
