It was a mess before, during and after it happened, and the whole fiasco gives us great insight into the chaos that was World Championship Wrestling. A WCW vs nWo match where every WCW Championship would be on the line somehow turned into a WCW vs nWo vs Team Piper match, the match provisions, awards, stipulations, rules and competitors were all changed multiple times during the build-up, and it all resulted in a confusing storyline build-up with a terrible pay-off.
