It was a lot longer than I expected, around two and a half hours, but that's good, cause it means we got to cover a lot of ground, like a book. It actually reminds me of a book I read called American Hardcore, which eventually became a movie. Each chapter was about a band and that band's input into the punk scene. Turn it Around works similarly because it's a documentary about the people for the people. All I really knew about The East Bay Punk scene was Green Day, who not only participated in the film but produced the film as well. I like the in depth look on the scene but what I really liked was the opportunity to explore bands and music that I've not herd before that was definitely my favorite part. http://cinemagardens.com
