Wrestling Bios Presents - The Sad Story of The Renegade in WCW The Story of The Renegade in WCW is, unfortunately, a sad one. When all was said and done, The Renegade's story ended in the worst possible way. WCW was was throwing around a lot of money to sign old WWF guys. From Hulk Hogan to Randy Savage, money was not an issue as Eric Bischoff spent millions of dollars to try and recreate what the WWE did in the early 90s. One man WCW could not get under contract was The Ultimate Warrior. So instead of signing Warrior, WCW introduced the world to The Renegade.
