Official video for Better With You, taken from Simply Red's brand new album 'Time'. Simply Red are back! Four years since the triumphant Blue Eyed Soul, one of the UK’s most treasured bands return with brand new studio album Time - out May 26th on Warner Music. The record’s debut offering comes in the form of the sensational pop masterclass ‘Better With You’. “On the song itself, I'm reminiscing on phase one of the relationship with my wife, when we first met in Milan. At that time, I was single and just partying my way around the world. And I thought to myself: well, I didn't really know what I was doing. I was just going along, having a right old time. It just stemmed from there.” -Mick Listen to the album 'Time' here: https://SimplyRed.lnk.to/Time Better With you: https://SimplyRed.lnk.to/BWY Lyrics: I didn’t know, what I was doing’ what you were feeling, and when did we know I recall a crowded smoky room, and you and me had had enough of the fumes. Better with you Honey for the things that we’ll never regret. Better with you Honey as we did the things we’ll never forget. Better with you. Better with you. Better with you. Better with you. Always. IT’S SO GOOD TO BE TOGETHER. IT’S SO GOOD TO BE TOGETHER. IT’S SO GOOD TO BE TOGETHER. IT’S SO GOOD TO BE TOGETHER. You didn’t show, so then my heart was aching, where did you go You seemed lost for sure, but I recalled the bar you took me in, and there you were standing with your gin-soaked friends. Better with you Babe before the booze got you out of your head. Better with you honey for the things that we’ll never regret. Better with you. Better with you. Better with you. Better with you. Always. IT’S SO GOOD TO BE TOGETHER. IT’S SO GOOD TO BE TOGETHER. IT’S SO GOOD TO BE TOGETHER. IT’S SO GOOD TO BE TOGETHER… Tickets for the 2025 Simply Red UK and Ireland 40th Anniversary Tour are on sale now!
