Rolando "Rolly" Romero USA fought Anthony Yigit SWEDEN on July 17, 2021, at the AT&T Center in San Antonio, Texas. Originally set as a WBA interim lightweight title defense, the fight became a non-title bout after Yigit missed weight by over five pounds. Romero is now set to face Ryan Garcia on May 3, 2025, in Times Square, New York City, for the vacant WBA regular welterweight title.
