If there exists love without passion, one can compare it with trees without branches as “Nasha” – composed and written by Siddharth Kasyap – describes the passion of love, leading to the unison of two souls turning their sentiments into a love story. Poetry of passion is precisely what “Nasha” is all about, an expression that all human beings undergo. The words further describe that the necessity of passion flowing in love is essential to ensure that it is not curdled or lost, but has an inherent facility of being replenished and nourished. It culminates with the feeling of love, leading into a satisfying, stable relationship, where love no longer hurts, but heals. While the theme has been discussed before – and will also be discussed thereafter – the lyrics of Siddharth Kasyap certainly remain one of a kind. Superbly recited by Siddharth Kasyap, in his distinctive voice, supported by the mesmerising voice of Saberi Bhattacharya, the musicians supporting “Nasha” include guitarist Vinnie Hutton and bassist Akashdeep Gogoi. “Nasha” revels in subtle emotions and is perfectly backed by musical variations and, make no mistake but “Nasha”, shaded in melancholy, gains a high-power performance by Siddharth Kasyap’s narration, with the cohesive lyrics only accentuating how definitive “Nasha” has claimed the passion of dignified loved as its own.
