If Taka hadn’t been there, Mufasa’s story would have ended before it even began. Despite everything, Taka still considered Mufasa his brother. Yes, Taka made a mistake, but didn’t he deserve forgiveness after everything he did for Mufasa? Mufasa played a role in turning Taka into Scar. He wasn’t born a villain he was hurt and betrayed.
