What made this film so enjoyable was the simplicity. The actors who played the Nikki and Jeremy characters had nice chemistry and both were very likable. The film was a nice family film which we hardly get to see these days. No foul language or gratuitous sex scenes. It isn't often that a film is simple and enjoyable. The relationships with the other characters could have been developed a little more but over all its worth watching . I recently saw Thomas Gipson ,the actor who portrayed Jeremy in another film 'The Man with my My Husbands Face " - he played a very convincing twisted disturbing character. Keep your on Mr. Gipson.
I didn't like the Vin Diesel look a like that was a complete jerk. I docked 1 star for that. There's no way that Vin even acts like that. You can't just take a bald guy and make me think he was anywhere near that gorgeous silky sounding teddy bear of Vin Diesel. I was really turned off by that part and sped up to cut out. I liked the gist that promoting "girl power" to accede in what is considered a man's job. And of course it was so predictable that she would be offered the job. I guess if you aren't a Vin Diesel fan then you would enjoy it. It's a family friendly movie with an okay moral to be whatever you want to be.
