A queen can move like a rook as well as a bishop which means that it can move the maximum number of squares on the board. It can move on diagonals, ranks, and files. It can move a total of 27 squares which means it can attack 27 squares in all directions. If it moves sideways it means that it moved like a rook. If it moves on a diagonal, then it’s a bishop move. How does it attack? The queen can have multiple paths to reach to its enemy. It can either use the rook moves or the bishop moves to capture the enemy.
