نعود بعد عام كامل لـ (كيفين) الذي وجد عائلته قررت قضاء فترة الكريسماس في فلوريدا ونتيجة لتأخرهم في الاستيقاظ يسارعون للحاق بالطائرة يفقدهم كيفين ويركب عن طريق الخطأ الطائرة إلى نيويورك ليكتشف أنه سيقضي العطلة مرة أخرى وحيدًا يستطيع الاحتيال على مسئولي فندق بلازا، ويقيم هناك لكن لسوء حظه الشديد يتصادف هروب هاري ومارف من السجن ووجودهم في نيويورك لتدور بينهم مرة أخرى مغامرة من أمتع ما يكون.
