Open Ring #5 definitely raised the bar 🔥⚡️ We had a record number of people wanting to step into the ring, which is amazing to see. Unfortunately, we couldn’t match everyone due to weight differences, but that’s part of what these events are about. We’d rather wait for the right match than make an unsafe one. The best part is seeing so many of our own Ali’s Boxing Gym members getting involved. People train week after week in our classes, then challenge themselves by stepping into the ring. That’s exactly what we hoped these events would become. Another huge milestone for us was our very first female boxing bout at an Open Ring. We hope it’s the first of many, and we’d love to see even more women giving boxing a go.
