District 13: Ultimatum

I thought B13: ultimatum was nowhere as good as the original. It copies a lot elements from the original but the thing is they're not as good! Story is same; govt wants to nuke district 13, action is almost same; similar chase scene except here it's more big with Cars through buildings, lots of gun plays and explosions. And much of the venturesome parkour stunts felt so special in the original felt pedestrian here, it's like they were using wires or camera tricks, which kills the effect. The rest of the parkour stunts felt very mundane. They used a lot of shaky-cam during the stunts which is a big turn off. However, David and Cyril carry the movie well, even though there are a lot of secondary characters. The soundtrack is good, as it creates a stirring, popping vibe that goes well with the frantic action. Overall, B13: ultimatum enjoyable movie but a bit of a letdown compare to the original.
