Chris Jericho’s future is suddenly the biggest mystery in pro wrestling. After disappearing from AEW TV following his abrupt exit from The Learning Tree segment on April 7, speculation has exploded heading into the 2026 Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. Is Jericho preparing for one last WWE run? Reports now suggest WWE has made a massive offer including a marquee WrestleMania match and a Hall of Fame induction. Add Jericho’s recent praise of TNA—and his thinly veiled shots at AEW—and the rumors only get stronger. With WWE building John Cena’s final match into a historic, surprise-filled moment, a Jericho return could rewrite both men’s legacies.
