boring story with great scenery and extraordinary acting for people who are trapped in slow moving, going no way over dramatic crapolla.scenery was beautiful especially livingston montana flyfishing area. brad pitt carries himself very well in this movie and again his acting is superb, for such a slow moving picture.emily lloyd is also very good, scenery in montana adds to a really boring movie.again the actors tried to make a go of it,but story was too weak.
It took me 26 years to get around to watching this film. I should have waited another 26 years. I tried to figure out what was going on in 1992 when this film was released that could possibly contextualize it into something interesting. I couldn't think of a thing. It's not merely slow. It's empty.
Just a beautiful film of the paths peoples lives take them finding their peace. Being from findinding recognition or the more low key achievement of spiritual peace. People live a life full of promises and inner destiny in a unforseen fortune leaving their own memorable mark on the landscape of time. Fly free.
