السلاح العاري 2½: رائحة الخوف

In the tradition of Airplane and of course the first Naked Gun this is just a slapsticky good time filled with goofy physical jokes and puns. Leslie Nielsen was the best at this kind of comedy and these movies were amazing. Just don't expect Shakespeare and you'll have fun and a few laughs.

'The Naked Gun 2½' is without doubt one of my favourite comedy sequels. Rather like the 'Airplane' sequel, this is just more of the same of what made the first film such a hit and anyone who loved the first film will find this film just as hilarious. The formula of the 'Naked Gun' sequel is exactly the same and Leslie Nielsen is once again on top form, delivering a laugh-a-minute performance and some classic lines. Nielsen's comedic timing and delivery is second to none and is without doubt the main reason for the success of these films. Silly spoof comedies seem to be more popular than ever now, but I can't think of any from recent years that have been anywhere near as good as the 'The Naked Gun' and 'Airplane' films. I doubt we'll see many comedy actors as talented as Nielsen again unfortunately but at least we'll always have these comedy classics to revisit - these films are timeless.
