Known for his explosive lights-out punching power, by the time Samoan sensation David Tua hung up the gloves in 2013, he had amassed a respectable fifty-two wins with an eye-watering forty-two wins coming by way of knockout, rightfully earning his place as one of the biggest hitters in the history of the heavyweight division. Regularly rendering his opponent unconscious in a ferocious and ruthless manner, the Samoan's thunderous power was clear to see when facing former heavyweight champion of the world Micheal Moorer, mercilessly destroying the former champ less than thirty seconds into the first round. Although the heavyweight knockout machine failed to pick up a world title belt from his fifty-nine-fight career, David Tua firmly etched his place in the history books as one of boxing's most exciting heavyweight contenders. After almost ten years since his last professional bout, we take a look back at the explosive career of Samoan boxing legend David Tua.
