First is the wide Bivol stance, perfect for repeated and efficient execution of the pendulum step. The next aspect is the high guard, which is just common sense. Bivol will sometimes drop the lead hand, buit at the same time he drops his body weight onto the back leg as an insurance policy. Finally is the Bivol upper body position. Bivol often squares his upper body, enabling him to absorb incoming power shots on his arms and also allowing an over-powered jab.
