يعيش (أشيتاكا) بهدوء ونعيم، في قبيلة تم نفيها جميعا، في أحد الأيام بينما كان (أشيتاكا) في الجوار مع غزاله الأحمر، صدر صوت غريب يشبه جلبة، وفجأة يظهر حيوان غريب كبير، وبذلك تتغير حياة (أشيتاكا) للأبد منذ تلك اللحظة. .

Princess Mononoke (1997) 8.5/10 A -personal- childhood classic Beautiful animation with an odd story as per Ghibli's design. But perhaps don't show this to your children. Both the boar's transformations & the deer god's 'death' are surprisingly grisly and disturbing.
