The footage shows Lionel Messi and the Argentina players in the tunnel/dressing-room area shortly before walking onto the pitch. The unusual part was Messi's emotional message to his teammates. The clip immediately triggered speculation on social media. Fans noticed that several Argentine players appeared extremely emotional and that the atmosphere seemed much more serious than the usual pre-match dressing-room scenes.
